Synopsis
Adani Green has been ramping up through acquisitions. Last year, it expanded its presence by acquiring operating solar assets to the tune of 205 MW from Essel Green Energy and Essel Infraprojects, located in Punjab, Karnataka and UP.
Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL), the Gautam Adani-led clean energy developer, is in advanced discussions to acquire a 250 MW Hero Future Energies (HFE) solar power project located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, said two people aware of the development. This follows HFE’s sale of a 250 MW solar power project to Temasek-backed O2 Power last week.AGEL plans to acquire the power purchase agreements (PPAs) that HFE had signed in 2018 for the Jodhpur project.
