The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has awarded more than $3.2 million in grants to support the installation of more than 500 electric vehicle charging stations across the state.
Funded from Ohio’s allocations in the Volkswagen Mitigation Trust Fund, the grants will provide full or partial funding for publicly accessible Level 2 EV charging ports at more than 170 locations.
Public and private entities in 26 counties were eligible to apply.
