Harrisburg holds ribbon cutting ceremony for new electric vehicle charging stations
Harrisburg held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday for its new electric vehicle charging stations.The eight stations are in the City Island Garage.”I’m giving great thanks to PA DEP’s driving forward program, which was the grant program which has allowed us to put in these new electric vehicle charging stations, right here, in the garage on City Island,” Mayor Eric Papenfuse said.There are more than 20 charging stations in the city.Papenfuse said the city is converting portions of its fleet to electric vehicles.
